Henna Brows FAQs

We call our henna brow service “Kereshmah Henna Brows”

Anyone can benefit from more defined and bolder brows. If you have sparse brows and always fill them in, or if you have a lot of thin brow hairs, or if you are thinking bout getting microbalding done but are just not sure of the shape/color, you should get Kereshmah Royale Brows with Henna.

It includes cleansing, mapping, shaping with thread and/or wax, henna stain, and henna removal.

Results vary. Henna will stain both brow hair and the skin. On the hair it lasts up to 4 weeks. However, longevity on the skin is from a few days to 10 days and depends on variety of factors such as: oiliness of the skin, cleansing routine, etc. We have had clients on whom the henna lasted even after the two weeks period, but also clients with very oily skin whose henna brows lasted for few days.

We use henna specifically developed for brows. Our brow henna is natural.

Our henna comes in 12 full range of colors, from blonde to black. We also mix colors to get the color that best matches your features.

No, we don’t recommend getting henna brows while you’re expecting.

Yes you can, although we suggest that you not wear brow make-up. The cleaner the brow area the more the color absorption. We do cleanse the brows before proceeding however.

We recommed that 48 hours after getting henna brows, you cannot let anything touch the brows including water or any face creams. Because it takes henna 48 hrs to be fully absorbed into your skin. If by accident water touches your brows after the procedure, the results unfortunately will not last as long. After 48 hrs, you can do anything you like.

No, the only thing that these two types of henna have in common is that they’re derived from henna plants. Tattoo henna fades into a reddish tint while our brow henna comes in variety of colors and it doesn’t fade into red color.

Henna stains the skin better, and the skin color looks more natural. Brow henna is much less chemical than tint.

Our brow henna is specifically developed for brows and therefore allergic reactions are very rare. However, if you have very sensitive skin which break outs very easily, we suggest you test our brow henna on a small patch of your skin 24hours before the procedure.

Brow Lamination FAQs

Brow lamination is a treatment that allows us to manipulate the brow hairs into a new desired position, either brushed up and fluffy or more as a corrective treatment for sparse brows.

It lasts up to 6 weeks depending on your skin type and maintenance.

For optimal results from your brow lamination treatment, it’s important to follow specific pre and post-care guidelines. Before your appointment, avoid exfoliating treatments on the brow area for 72 hours and keep your brows dry for at least 48 hours to preserve natural oils essential for the lamination process.

After your brow lamination, continue to keep your brows dry for 24 to 48 hours and refrain from using makeup or brow products to allow your brows to set into their new shape. Avoid touching or rubbing your brows immediately after the treatment to prevent irritation. Starting 48 hours after the treatment, moisturize your brows with a gentle oil or serum, like castor oil, and use a clean spoolie brush to gently realign your brows daily. Avoid exfoliating the area and apply a gentle, fragrance-free SPF when exposed to the sun. Regular follow-up appointments, typically every 6-8 weeks, will help maintain your desired look. Monitor for any signs of irritation, and consult with your aesthetician or a dermatologist if unusual symptoms occur.

The products we use are Dermatologically and Ophthalmologically tested. The brand we use also go through various stages of in-depth rigorous testing protocols in order to guarantee the highest quality. Our technicians are well trained to perform the protocol as well.

Brow lamination is a safe procedure designed to restructure the brow hairs, giving them a fuller and more defined appearance without causing hair loss. The process involves a gentle chemical solution that softens the hair, allowing it to be shaped into your desired look. However, it’s crucial to follow proper pre and post-care instructions to ensure the health of your brow hairs. Avoiding excessive rubbing and following the aftercare guidelines provided by your technician will minimize any risk of damage to your hair follicles. As with any cosmetic treatment, some individuals may experience slight changes in hair texture or growth due to individual sensitivities, but significant hair loss is not a common side effect of brow lamination. If you have concerns about your specific skin or hair condition, consult with your technician before undergoing the treatment.

Laminated brows are actually very flexible. You can brush them in whichever direction and they will remain in that position for the entire day.

We can always perform a patch test before you book an appointment if you feel nervous.

Keratin Lash Lift FAQs

The Keratin Lashes treatment and a typical eyelash perm are very different. First off, an eyelash perm curls the delicate eyelash hair, which gives the hair an obvious curl but doesn’t do much more. Eyelash perms also use very harsh chemicals that can severely damage or break the natural lash, and can do a lot of damage to the eye if there is a sloppy application.

The Keratin Lashes treatment takes your natural lashes and delicately lifts them from the root to make them appear longer and fuller. We are also able to comb and separate each lash in the process to give the appearance of a fuller, more voluminous lash line. The eye appears bigger, the lashes appear longer, and we apply a complementary tint to give the eyes a great “pop!” Aside from that, the formula is a very gentle keratin protein treatment that adds nutrients and vitamins into the eyelashes. It’s hypo-allergenic, cruelty free, and extremely nourishing. What’s not to love?!

This treatment lasts around 8 weeks, or a whole cycle of the natural eyelash. Eyelashes grow and naturally fall out every 60-90 days. With that being said, depending on the individual, around week 7 you may notice new straight lashes growing in among the previously lifted lashes. a coat of mascara will tuck the straight lashes up with the already lifted ones but you may want to consider booking another treatment In the coming weeks. most guests come for treatments every 6-10 weeks. This treatment is safe to maintain after 4 weeks.

After receiving a Keratin Lash Lift at our salon, you can safely get your lashes wet; however, it’s still crucial to follow proper after-care to maintain their beautiful curl. Avoid rubbing or pulling on your lashes to prevent damage. For the first 24 hours, refrain from applying makeup to allow the lift to set properly. While sleeping, try to keep your face off the pillow to avoid altering the lift shape. After 24 hours, you can use your regular makeup and skincare products, but we recommend oil-free formulas to preserve the lift effect.  Remember, there’s no need for mechanical eyelash curlers as your lashes are already perfectly lifted. If you experience any irritation or have concerns, please contact your lash technician.

Yes! You may be really pleased with the results and realize your eyelashes are actually longer than you thought! Especially being someone with extremely curly lashes, this is a great treatment to retrain the growth pattern of your lashes.

This treatment is hypo-allergenic, non-toxic, and extremely gentle so anyone from a teenager to mature adult is a great candidate for a lash lift. Many of my clients are mature adults who love this treatment because it gives them a beautiful lash line without the worry of having to apply makeup. Very natural and glamorous, and no up keep!
