In short, it’s a technique to a achieve the most realistic brows. PhiBrows is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology and golden proportion (phi 1,618).
In order to successfully perform the treatment, the skin must not be in the regeneration process, i.e. it must not be damaged. Please communicate session with our artist during your consultation If there is eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, pimples or any damage in the eyebrows area so that she can advise you take the best course of action to make your skin ready for the treatment.
Within 30 days before your appointment, avoid all abrasive and laser treatments as well as Botox and tanning. With 5 days, stop any multivitamins, turmeric, ginger, and anything leading to blood thinning; also, avoid waxing and tinting. On the appointment day, arrive with clean and makeup-free skin. Do not book an appointment before a vacation or anytime you will be getting wet, sweating excessively, or in the sun. We advise you take a shower prior to your appointment because you cannot get your brows wet for 3 days.
Redness and slight swelling similar to a light sunburn are normal. Personal detailed information of after-treatment will be provided for you depending on your conditions. However in general, we advise you take a shower prior to your appointment because you cannot get your brows wet for 3 days.
Phi pigments SUPE forumla is the latest generation of phi pigments, the most advanced microblading pigments, made in Germany.
SUPE formula is the fifth generation of PhiBrows pigments. This means that the original synthetic microblading formula has been improved 4 times. This is the first pigment in the market for which the manufacturer guarantees that it will not change its shade with time in comparison to the shade after healing.
It is characterized by compressed yellow pigment. Compressing the pigment leads to the increase in its stability. By its nature, yellow is the most unstable colour. When it fades out from the skin, eyebrows may get grey or reddish. Equal stability of all pigments that make brown colour prevents the colour from changing into an unwanted one until it fades out completely.
SUPE pigments do not require additional mixing with basic colours in order to make them warmer. With the new SUPE formula it is not necessary to add any of the basic pigments (red , yellow or black).
Based on our experience, our clients feel minimal pain during microblading. Having said that, if you prefer, we will apply numbing cream which will make your procedure virtually pain-free
The technique is intended for anyone over the age of 18 (persons under 18 must be accompanied by their parents) who wants to correct the aesthetic problems of their eyebrows.
Pre and Post Care
Pre-treatment Care
1. Do not work out 24 hours before procedure.
2. NO alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!).
3. Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.
4. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure.
5. Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc.), “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements 48 hours prior to procedure.
6. Discontinue Retin-A at least 4 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure).
7. Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure).
8. Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 1 month prior to procedure for those who do not regularly receive injectables.
9. No brow waxing, tinting, or threading one week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!
10. Avoid Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion or facials for 4-weeks prior procedure.
Post-treatment Care
1. Keep the brow area clean by using a natural fragrance-free gel cleanser (such as Cetaphil) and water. Hands must be freshly clean. Avoid use of abrasive washcloths or sponges.
2. Allow eyebrows to completely air dry before applying ointment. Apply the aftercare ointment given (for the amount of days recommended by your artist) with freshly washed hands or a Q-Tip.
3. DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss!
4. COMPLETELY avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure. Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to change color while it is healing and can also cause hyper pigmentation and scarring.
5. Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, hot showers and/or hot baths for 3 weeks.
6. Avoid sweating for a full 10 days. Any physical effort, gym, hot weather, any other activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows will expel pigment from the dermis producing poor results.
7. Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for the first 10 days.
8. Keep your bangs and hair pulled back from your face for the first 10 days.
9. NO makeup or skincare products to be used on the treated area for two weeks.
10. NO facials, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
11. NO Botox for 4 weeks. We recommend that it’s best to wait until after your touch up heals to get Botox, as an educated injector will take your new brows into consideration when choosing where to inject.
12. After 10 days, once the area has healed completely, consider using sunblock when going out in the sun to stop the color from fading.
13. Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for 2 weeks after your procedure. Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels and Microderms around the brow area once healed.
